Description
This project was actually three developments in one: an office block, retail space, and a ferry terminal for the Robben Island Museum.
Design and engineering challenges were numerous, including the preservation of historical monuments (the Clock Tower and Chavonne Battery), and a portion of the building being constructed over water.
Interesting from our perspective, was that numerous clients were involved, as well as more than one firm of quantity surveyors.
